Great location by proximity to the grand Canyon! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe best Western inn is located approximately squire Dragan ten minutes by car from the south entrance to the grand Canyon. Dragan itself is only a small village consisting of three-four hotels a small supermarket, a very expensive gas station, a few restaurants and fast food shops, as well as a small helicopter/airport. The hotel consists of a main building with two part leaded front desk, restaurant, and gift shop and a building was located directly at the entrance to the town on the left hand side. The hotel has a small, well-kept pool, tennis courts and a free internet terminal. Our room in the Annex was in a good, very clean condition and had two large beds, telephone, free safe, refrigerator, wireless Internet, air conditioning, flat screen tv, alarm clock and coffee maker. Also the bathroom with shower and toilet was big enough and clean. There are plenty of free parking spaces directly at the hotel and because of its proximity to the grand Canyon is the location of the Hotel of course described as very good. The next big town is however about an hour from Dragan away. With our booking included breakfast unfortunately we cannot recommend. Typically American there are only eggs, bacon, toast, cereal, water, juice, soda, coffee, a little fruit and sweet pastries. The atmosphere in the breakfast room is not very inviting. Noisy, dark, and employees with trash cart to walk through the dining room was a bit spoil the appetite. In the evening you can eat in the restaurant of the hotel, although I have to say we preferred the steak house in Dragan and also warmest further. Also there was the possibility in the supermarket to Dragan are pressure-grouted. If you don't have to soak up, this should also, as the gas is by far the most expensive Dragan the grand Canyon was. Even in the eastern entrance to the canyon Cameron was much cheaper than in the petrol Dragan.
