Great location and view *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AFrom the outside the hotel doesn't really nice, like an old apartment block. The hotel has 9 floors and 2 lifts. The lobby is very nicely decorated, includes 2 PC's with internet access (free) and another computer station with information about restaurants. In the surrounding area. Parking is $24 a day.
Location
The hotel is situated directly across from Grant Park, Michigan Avenue. We had a room (904 ) with a great view of the Chicago's skyline. In the immediate vicinity with some stores (supermarket, Star Bucks, Target, liquor stoor) and the underground station Roosevelt, where the green, orange and the red line. Also keep there, as well as directly in front of the hotel, a wide choice of buses.
The staff was great. We asked for various restaurants, once a Greek and Italian and got excellent advice on both times, the restaurants were really great. Check-in was quick and easy. Unfortunately, only the wireless in our room not working, but there was the free options in the lobby.

Room
The rooms were clean and quite large. Our room had two double beds, a desk and a TV cabinet. The bathroom was also large with a bath/shower basin. As described above, we had a great view of the skyline, especially in the mornings at the sunrise it was particularly nice to look at.
Tips and recommendations
Hancock and Sears Tower offers a great view of Chicago.
