hidden gem downtown *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThis hotel is a hidden treasure downtown Minneapolis. You are in the middle of everything, if you get there before the door force. Parking places are available, and are only partially covered, $7 /day, at any other hotel in the surroundings there are $20, -standard. Our room was a so-called "king suite of a living room with kitchenette including microwave, a bedroom and a bathroom. Cleanliness was obviously very important to them, as it was incredibly clean throughout the hotel. The ambience is what makes this hotel lives up to its name, like much wood without squashing you very nice. The staff was extremely friendly, from the booking over the phone to check out. Evenings at 10:00 pm there was cookies&milk for turndown, but you have to pick up, but it was worth it, the cookies are great. There was a restaurant and a bar which we didn't use. Also this hotel has a pool, for a city hotel is also a big plus. We loved it here very, very much, we will definitely stay here again.
