The charm the good old times, a must *

A Victorian-era hotel, on every square inch and the. The furnishing, the elevator, the mountings in the bathroom, etc. as we had imagined. The rooms a large and high. The bathroom was like something from another era-wow, hot and cold water to mix. The dinner in the main dining room was anytime again a highlight in this hotel. In the bar the drinks and then just enjoy it. With the chef a Smalltalk and a briefing in the different sauces every evening was one of them-creations simply great. After the diner you can cross the street and you are immediately on the long promenade with an old fortress, overlooking the canal bunker, the second world war museum and the hovercraft/jetty. From the promenade one recognizes the Isle of Wright on the horizon. We'll definitely be one of the next England travel here again.
