Hotel with a monopoly *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AOn our USA trip 2011 we wanted to see the Bryce Canyon. So almost nothing less than the Best Western inn Rubys to book. Check-in and check-out were fast and with a bit of friendliness. The rooms are in individual houses gathered around the main building. Nothing special in the rooms. Refrigerator, microwave, no safe. The location to the Canynon is unopposed. Dinner at the restaurant of the hotel with long waiting period, a cafeteria-like atmosphere, and expensive mass processing. For two steaks, one portion wings, beer, and a Diet Coke two $77:00. Tip is automatically included with set 15%. There was too much tip for normal to poor service. But because it is the only restaurant in walking distance nearby miot buses and many groups arriving here the monopoly will be used. The second night we stayed hot dogs in the room, which was cheaper and tasted also not much worse ☺. Small supermarket with everything you need and do not need them. Good food and fair prices. All in all a normal motel but its monopoly. Wireless Internet access in the room free of charge. Bryce canyon with the car about two minutes away. Heating in the air conditioning system with in it, we didn't need it, because in the first night it snowed and 20° Fahrenheit we had a fall in temperature. However, no heating in the bathroom and over night but it was always cold. We would book again out of necessity, because it is no good alternatives. Across the street is another Best Western, is however more expensive and that I think it's part of the Rubys inn in addition.
