Ideal location, dining with bad service *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is ideally located for the Bryce Canyon, we would not hesitate to stay there again. In no case would we eat there. This is mass processing. The so-called breakfast buffet is a joke (and we are not spoiled), there is only scrambled eggs, bacon, fried skewered was as can be, with a fork that he no longer, without cooked to crumble, toast, oatmeal (country with water, not with milk), a little fruit and cereals and two or three sorts of jam. Above all, it was disappointing, that the buffet breakfast choose, because when you walk in an see beverage choices, then you can tell, that there was hardly something and beverage choices in fact twice the same, strategically well presented, is. We had to wait in line for ages and ask the waiter also personally, breakfast coffee-this is unusual in the United States. Normally we have much better service. The attempt, at lunch, we were so uninterested, that we went back. We bought in the (expensive, Hotel) grocery store for a picnic. Behind the houses are a few picnic tables. The service at the front desk was great. Kim (South Africa) is a true gem, it made up for us by phone canceled a hotel and another booked (for a couple of days later in Las Vegas). It has been negotiating with the other receptions well for us, was very friendly and correct time. I would have done even by cell phone, would have cost me $20 or 30 sure, telephone and a lot of nerves. I am, of course, with a generous tip COMP. Directly in front of the hotel is the shuttle bus to the Bryce Canyon, if you don't want to drive with your own car. The hotel is next to the grocery store a huge gift shop, a gas station, across the street, but also belong to the hotel, a few nice shops with minerals/stones, ice cream, etc souvenirs.
