I am a regular summer visitor to the Silberhorn
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AI come back year after year. The hotel staff are always courteous, friendly,and above all competent---nothing is too much trouble. This year the chef is in my opinion exceptional. I come to Wengen to walk, and the hotel's close proximity to both the train station and the Mannlichen cable car station give me almost immediate access to an enormous range of walks,in addition to the many walks available from the hotel and the village of Wengen. Although the hotel is close by the rail station, trains do not run through the night so my sleep is not disturbed. The views from room balconies and the sun terrace are spectacular. When I return from my Silberhorn holiday I always feel relaxed and refreshed--two feelings which I believe a good holiday should engender.
