Lovely location on the Tin Wis - Mackenzie Beach *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe resort is under Indian artifacts located tour. It consists of wood and is a kind lodge with different houses. It has 85 rooms on 3 floors, all of which a sea view with terrace or balcony. From here you can enjoy great sunsets, as it is right on the Mackenzie Beach just across the street. Sadly during the price of 315 euros per 2 nights incl. Tax no breakfast included. For Canadian price and the location, amenities and this beautiful- or the rates generally in Tofino this glitch adequate. Although for German conditions are far too expensive. The whole resort was very clean and well maintained.
Location
The Tin Wis Mackenzie is located directly on the beach. We could walk out the patio door of lawn and they were right ma beach. from the center of Tofino about 2km to go again. Nice walks are possible until then on the extensive Fßgänger or bike path. Buses on the way. To the resort you can travel approximately 500 meters away from the highway. Within a few minutes you reached is a small store nearby or cafe's etc.
The staff was so friendly and kind. Unfortunately we did not room as requested in the top floors get, as was fully booked. But I think, with terrace where you without detour leads straight onto the sandy beach it is much nicer. The view is nearly the same. The room cleaniness o.k. worked fine. Everything was re-filled: coffee, tea TEC. If you still be entered room had a card with a kind regards the Reiningungspersonals on the table.
Gastronomy Unused
There is a restaurant in the resort, which but we didn't go there. Others have mentioned the high prices. But what is in Tofino cheap!?
Sport & Entertainment Unused
The hotel features a whirlpool tub and a fitness room. But we didn't use it.
Room
The rooms were of the exterior (parking) walk-in. Either EC or by steps (all open staircase). If you came in the bathroom was right. Very nice, with bathtub, hair dryer, bathrobe, etc. Can't say enough about we had a kind of tiny kitchen/bar. including was the mini-fridge. Also there were glasses, cups, tea, coffee and the maker to find. Our room had 2 queen beds, a closet with integrated TV, a bedside table, desk, chair, clock radio etc. If you want more money, you can also rent rooms with jacuzzi and fireplace. As we had a room on the ground floor, was a huge glass windows with view of the beach. On the terrace there were two chairs and a table.
Tips and recommendations
Who thinks the this hotel is expensive should first general area around Tofino beschägtigen. Nothing is free. Food for 2 persons in under 60€. Ice cream 4 bowls about 12€. The many shops also offer product that are out of anywhere else on Vancouver Island for much less money. However, if Vancouver Island, then Tofino. The flair of the surfers, these Unbeschwerdheit ..... Great. Tip: jamies Whaling station 2,5h Bärenbeobachtung (approx. 15 Animals) 3,0h Whale watching (2 gray whales) 20 minutes water plane (1h is happened later) for 430€ incl. Tax/2 persons
