Badhotel Rockanje Aan Zee

This year was I, together with my friend for the first time the Netherlands visited! We have our own Fraust;-)By car on the road and the signs loved it! We have found our destination without great effort!

When we arrived in our hotel, we were greeted warmly at the front desk and the possibilities (shopping, etc. there) Close attention!

The move into our room was a bit, as I would have expected a better basic! unfortunately I of the guests before a few hairy remnants found!

Furthermore, I would have expected, that it at least an in-room safe is, unfortunately in vain! I had my personal items in your suitcase and have always hoped, that it is not as easy to crack is!

The atmosphere in and around the room is nice! with a lot of wood and other nice gadgets (lanterns, pine cones, antlers, bears heads...-lodge style)!
The bed: it consists of two single beds pushed together, the to be moved away from each other! The mattress was sunk in, and has unfortunately not only for each rack ' (back)! very soft!
The housekeeping staff does it not so in particular-our sheets were not once been smoothened, the pillows fluffed not just the duvet was nice smooth on the 'chaos'! the bed left, so you could go back! The beds are so take you have!
Vacuum very efficient, sporadic and not close!
Balcony was not cleaned!

The bathroom: it was small, rather dark (lighting rate, without Daylight), without deduction (small tip: upmarket pray for unangenehmeren fragrances;-), The sink modern, hardly storage space, above the toilet is angbracht/the tiles on the doorstep (very narrow)! also the cleaning of the room girl left a little to be desired! unfortunately!

The breakfast buffet: cheese, sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon, boiled eggs, jams, peanut butter, chocolate cream, honey, fruit, pastries, croissants and chocolate sprinkles! beware of the: e below the glass down looks even older (color change...) will be on the chocolate! the fresh and the older 'modern' there! It looks somewhat unappetizing!

Of course you could have been in the hotel for lunch and dinner, this we didn't use, therefore no judgment!

In rockanje itself there are not many possibilities to eat dinner! There are not many restaurants or also not all open!
The only thing I can highly recommend, the snack bar de Dijk (near the town hall)! There are two older, nice people, the snack! but you have to bring time, because there are always a lot of people go and bustle is not!
The hamburger was huge and tasted just sensational! the fries exactly on the dot!, two, three... visit was definitely worth it! great good and cheap!
Behind the steakhouse (village with supermarket, Banks & shops) conceals a Kepaphouse with been better, reasonably good! but had long waits (1h15 minute was once the highest), the telephone orders are preferred!
The Chinese opposite the steakhouse is excellent! very friendly staff!

To the beach. This is on foot in cosy eight minutes away! It's nice, clean, long! so it is definitely not in a tin of sardines!;-)There are two restaurants where you can drink & food!
For long walks highly recommended!

Rockanje aan Zee I think the location was very ideal for excursions! it was located directly on the ocean (one can enjoy the peace) but you are in an hour and a half at Amsterdam, about 40 minute in Rotterdam, 30 minutes Europoort, with a lot of sightseeing in between and without stress in 1H? (minutes I didn't know more) in Bergen OP Zoom (Shopping & old town), (nice little town) is Brielle in 20 minute walking distance, also (shopping) Hello vets Luis is also in the proximity!
Night life opportunities in rockanje to no avail, it also depends on whether you need-we didn't need it in our case!

To conclude, I would like to add, that I didn't want to forfeit the badhotel, but am not sure, if I visit again! I concur, because horror moderate it was definitely not! You read some of the reviews and make its own image, because everyone its attention to other things! The one thing is important, the other and yet another is it! I would recommend Holland! It is a very interesting, nice and impressive country! with wind, clouds, rain, sun and can very quickly change!! You will also flexible what is essential to have a car to make excursions!
