Beausite Park Hotel

Wonderful outlook over the village so romantic at night. Great first thing as you can ski to the cablecar or Wengernalpbahn but is a considerable pain (literally) when returning back from a days skiing. Worth making arrangements to meet the electric hotel shuttle to avoid the hike! Parking is down in the valley at Lauterbrunnen as Wengen is car free confirmed, thankfully by a local referendum.

What a revelation this hotel is! Everyone speaks English, the service is first class with plenty of staff to accomodate every wish. So friendly it is a revelation to see this in 2005 when everything is based on profit alone and not service. This Hotel simply does everything beyond its 4 Star rating.
You must go to enjoy and Lauberhorn weekend is a must when the USA team come to town Bode Miller at al.

What a choice and the quality is superb. Only the best materials are used and the chef puts on a varied menu that generally suits all including a daily buffet. Wine list extensive at fair prices. Atmosphere excellent with many locals eating together with the guesta which are mainly English, German and a few French. Piano bar has an excellent atmosphere and offers the best choice and quality of cocktails I have experienced in Switzerland normally manned by qualified Germans.

Although the Park does not have a night club or entertainment really this is not the point of this hotel.
The Leisure offer is excellent although not offering a gym this hotel oozes quality and delivers.

Spacious room, lovely furniture, comfortable bed, excellent en-suite and the best room service one can imagine. The cleaning staff were the best mannered and the most diligent I have encountered in years.

The Beau-Site Park is in a lovely position in Wengen and offers the ideal complement to the wonderful Jungfrau ski area. DHO, Wengen Curling Club members return year after year and who can blame them since this is simply home from home! Prices are fair for the area and excellent for the quality offered.
Wengen has had a reputation for poor snow in the past but this seems to be over as the past few seasons have seen a massive fall of snow throughout the season. If you are used to France,Italy or Austria, and like it, don't come to the Park at Wengen as you will never go back to them!
