A highlight of our Neuenglandreise *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AA very nice, cozy and to the last detail furnished with a lot of love bed & breakfast hotel! Each of the 10 rooms is individually decorated and simply to relax. The lobby and breakfast room are very cozy and charming. The swing on the front porch invites fallen to linger. The bathroom, as well as everything else, was very clean. From hair to purchase swimming caps from him, everything was available. At breakfast we sat together with two other guests. We were from the house owner, the many years ago from Germany were MIGRATING, "cooked". The food was excellent, if homemade jam or freshly made fruit salad. We had nothing to complain about. Hospitality was a huge priority in this hotel! The Highland Lake Inn was definitely a highlight of our 3 week Neuenglandreise! Next time we will stay longer stay there: -)
Location
The Inn is fantastically located on the "Highland Lake" in the middle of New Hampshire. As we had "Indian Summer" presented. If you are looking for peace and nature is well taken care of here. Also hiking or canoists is the place for you. About 15 -20 km away we visited the Tanger outlet and had a lot of fun when you go shopping: -) You definitely need a car, walk for example. No restaurants or supermarkets.
Pecco and Gail are just friendly and courteous. We could have stayed at canoeing dealing with the water, then it wouldn't have been a problem, the washing machine or the dryer to use. You get great advice and ideas for excursions, Wanderungen, ...

Great plentiful and varied breakfast!
Sport & Entertainment
In the summer it would surely be fantastic, if you can swim in the lake. We explored him a canoe, which we from the house.
