Good hotel, but you have to make concessions. *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AI was with my partner for a wellness weekend at the Parkhotel schotten. The hotel itself is simply built, directly next-door was an EDEKA shopping center. The car park is directly in front of the hotel was well filled, but you get a parking lot. If the waste paper from the EDEKA in the early at seven is processed by a large Vice is you have been startled awake, but we had the windows open.
The staff was all very nice and friendly, even critical be solved quickly enquiries. We had a room with waterbed, since you couldn't sleep at all, we were offered a swap, the excess surcharge naturally against credit controls. The change was easy we got two rooms to choose from and decide yourself.
The breakfast buffet is in my eyes a bit thin, 2-3 types of sausage and two types of cheese, which usually only after a request refilled. Furthermore, there was fruit, yogurt and jam and a nut spread, of course. The bread rolls were fresh aufgebacken, the scrambled eggs and the coffee was fresh. The restaurant I can only say, that the 3-course menu, which was booked with my package, was sensational.
The wellness area we didn't try them, but a Wohlfühlbad. We were able to book the evening time, you could take the time to swim (otherwise after 30 minutes about the door knocked the nearest can enter the bathroom).
The rooms are simple but good, the mattresses in the normal rooms perfectly okay. The bathrooms are very small, but the condition is okay.
We were satisfied, but we were hardly there, as we with the surrounding countryside. For a pure Wellness me but I would have expected more.
