A little piece of heaven on earth
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThis was, without question, the most enjoyable vacation we have ever experienced. Mountain panoramas, beautiful green valleys, clean and safe wandering trails...it's all there at the doorstep. The mountain chalet was a dream. Hot tub out in nature with a view of the village far below. How about soaking in a warm bath with champagne and strawberries right in the middle of a forest. Breakfast brought directly to your door every morning with a smile and a"Guten Morgen" from the super-friendly and helpful staff. The chalet was spotless, beds very comfortable and spectacular views from every window.
The food from their restaurant was excellent. In short, we can't come up with a single shortcoming or criticism of the Bergdorf. The only downside to the wonderful days spent there is that our visit was far too short. We are definitely planning a return. We can only say that you have to experience it yourself. You won't regret it.
