Blau Colonia Sant Jordi Resort & Spa

Colonia Sant Jordi I knew not yet, although I have several times on Majorca. And since I need for a quiet, relaxing holiday had, I am not going to comment, that there are more tranquil than crowded zugehe. I formed my own assessment in a good friend to a single getaway book.

In summary, I have to say, that I was very pleasantly surprised and happy and had a lovely holiday. The service was above average with full Sun, 30 degrees to, a few clouds and always a light breeze. With sun's cleanness as creams and a parasol (with two chairs 12, or 14, -Euro/day) were there obligation.

The place is well arranged, nice and not spectacular and offers a good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and a very picturesque small port with a nice beach and a nice, partly car-free Promenade. If you just want to party, but rather out of place and should look for other places on the island. The beach was amazing, whose one end of the town begins, despite high company was absolutely clean, the water is clear and completely free of algae, etc. that was exactly the same for the hotel George VI and the beaches. The hotel area was very large and was fully booked. But because of the extensive, very spacious and tastefully decorated with plenty of green and water resort on the no time. Even in the dining rooms, distributed to guests (at least at night with the second layer), and only at the pool area and from the hotel was quite lively and sometimes a little bit noisy due to the many children and/or the entertainment. The area was kept well around the o'clock and was very clean. There was little problems with mosquitoes and only a few bites. The food was very varied, plentiful and mostly very tasty. Only a bit more local cuisine would have been desirable. The service was very good, the staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. A little tip also at the beginning of the holiday is sure...

The offer of sport (especially tennis, water sports, bike) and entertainment and child care, excursions seemed large, but we didn't detail and, ultimately, didn't use it. The hotel is not located on the sea front, but to one end of the ES trenc or to the port it is only a ten minute walk 15. The ES trenc drives also a shuttle bus every half an hour from the hotel, once a day (to 11 o 'clock, 16 o' clock back) Even after SA rapita. A car rental and a bicycle in the hotel, a gift shop and a small supermarket directly in front of the entrance to find.

Our room (building 5) was very clean, tasteful and well equipped, only a bit noisy, a few minutes walk from the Hautpgebäude with desk and dining halls etc., which didn't bother us. The building was very nice with green atria dryer, two story with seemed less than it was. From eight in the morning o'clock made however and early risers guests therefor service, that it was not so quiet. And if you're a light sleeper, it may bother it, that sprinklers turned on at night.

Service and drinks/food at the bars were good, but unfortunately they closed later than 24 o'clock all. So you got then only from the minibar drinks. The prices for drinks, snacks etc. were quite high, but still OK. And the World Cup-semi-final against Spain that was fine-for the atmosphere, afterwards for the comfort ;-) you need either a credit card or plenty of cash for the " little things " in between.

For a week of pure beach and relaxing place and club were all in all a very good choice. We had booked a package for good 500, -, in the end a very good price/performance ratio was. For families with children the club is almost ideal. For couples, singles, in the vacation a little more experience and more to be among their peers, you must take either outside the clubs and a rental car-or rather just book somewhere else. The only (nice as short) single contact came by chance in the small supermarket in front of the club and a possible continuation of this failed, the size of the area that have a second chance hergab...

Overall I give given their own requirements in terms of the resort and A + 2 Club
