Wow! Great place to relax!
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A Aquite a big area for the hotel. Pool is right next to the beach, we took "only" with breakfast because we wanted to taste the Thai food in different restaurants and stands in the area.
Lot's of British, German and Asian guests. Age range is from family, young couples and elderly people ...everything...but a good mix and none is really getting bothered with the others!
Location
The beach in Bo Phut is like tiny rocks...so in the beginning it seems really rough and might be a bit uncomfortable but you get used to it. The water is very clean!
In 10min walk (partly on the beach!) to Fisherman's Village where there are a lot different restaurants!
Recommended: private boat trip (max 8 pple) to the national park (about 40 islands) lots of fun and very beautiful!
Very very friendly staff, we spoke in English with them sometimes were a bit misunderstandings but nothing bad, we always got what we've ordered ;)
The last day we had trouble to pay with our credit cards...somehow none of them was working at the hotel. Wasn't really a complaint but they were still very friendly evenw when we got a but frusturated with the situation. (Had to go to an ATM in the end and pay cash).
Gastronomy
There are two restaurants: the Ocean which is an international restaurant directly at the beach and the Thai restaurant which is more in the middle of the Resort but very beautifully arranged.
We had lunch several times at the Ocean. it was always very tasty! Once we were at the Thai restaurant and the food was absolutly awesome!
Sport & Entertainment
Tried wind surfing, they have several other leisure activities ... for free!
Beach, pool were always clean, the "beach boys" were always very helpful with the ombrellas etc!
Room
We got a free upgrade (due to the tour operators connections)!
Morning and turn down service was always done neatly. Lots of space;mini bar was always full with complementary water; safe didn't open one day, but was checked immediatly; very clean!
