Cagliari Santa Maria Hotel

The next beach is about 8 km far away (Pötto - beautiful long sand beach with many leisure-time facilities, restaurants and bars) before the hotel is a bus stop with direct connections to this beach and in the center of Cagliari. The airport lies in the proximity (10 minutes with the car). There is no disturbing aircraft noise - however partial substantial road noise. The sirens that above all at night disturb the close frequently to convenient hospitals driving ambulances. Who would like to sleep calmly, should ask for a room at the hotel back. Supermarkets and bars directly beside the hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The Internet POINT did not function. Therefore we were allowed free of charge to use the computer in the hotel office.

Very rich, varied Frühstücksbuffet. In the evening there is a daily menu for 19,50 €. We did not try that however, since we much on the way were.

Our room was sufficiently large. Furniture and organization reminded of the 70's and showed customs traces. The hotel has no balcony/terraces - however air conditioning system and windows, which can be opened. Mini bar, safe and telephone were present.

On-line one booked was expressed inexpensive the hotel. Thus the price performance ratio was really good. A car is not necessary, if one liked to explore only Cagliari and the closer environment. With a passenger car one has however the advantage that one can reach Villasimius and the beautiful beaches of the Costa RH in approximately one hour. Also the southwest coast Sardiniens is beautiful and by car in about 30 minutes attainable.
