Great Holidays
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AImpressive hotel with very interesting architecture and design. Main building (lobby, main restaurant, ...) not in the centre of the hotel-complex. Very clean hotel. Mainly couples and families.
We had ultra-all inclusive.
Location
Located south of Hurghada, ca. 25-30 min by taxi, but still close enough to go there for shopping. Airport at bit closer (ca. 15-20 min by taxi). No noise from airplanes. No other hotel directly next to the hotel.
Long beach, pools, shopping facilities, several restaurants, bars etc. Children animation available. Excursions available if needed.
Service always trying to help and find solution for problems. Staff speaks mainly English and Russian, but also German, Italian.
Doctor available, great cleaning service, and all other kind services you might need.
Gastronomy
If you don't try local Whisky - great!
Different types of restaurants (italian, brazilian etc), our personal choice: Il Gaucho. Main restaurant offers theme-dinners.
Staff takes well care of you, tipping not needed - but of course possible if you want to.
Sport & Entertainment
Diving centre (Aquarius) at hotel. Hotel offers different kind of sports (fitness, tennis, SPA etc). Staff well educated and trained.
Small minus: sauna not free of charge.
Room
Great view on sea, close enough to main building. TV, terrace, minibar, telephone, tea pot, air-conditioning.
Our cleaning staff was just great, with great sense of humor.
Tips and recommendations
We (German/ Russian) were there just for resting, relaxing, diving, and SPA from end of 2011 until mid of Jan.
In Jan you need warm jacket for the evening, extremely cold wind. During the day warm and sunny.
We read some other reviews complaining about cold food, unfriendly staff, not German-speaking staff. In our opinion all this does not match with our experience.
