For German extremely took some getting used to *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AInitially we were from our rooms very enthusiastic. recently refurbished and very appealing. We had booked a double room with half board. The balcony was basically not ( so small, about 1 sqm) but otherwise everything very appealing. It only once in 2 weeks in every room a cleaning service (the existing nor originalverpackte vacuum cleaner should confirm terrible expectations) and only every two days (2 times per. Week) new towels was getting used to and have already mentioned we were with an indication of the "club" explains. Unfortunately the TV only delivered a partially German-speaking channels (Deutsche Welle TV / Info program varied in English and German). The front desk staff spoke only a "a little english", well we were just in France. The pool was unfortunately only a construction site but is not great. The beach was to die for, the water was super clean and provided in all blue colors. The area is constantly being renovated also more and more planted and well maintained ( please go into perspective, it was just still in France). Entertainment, entertainment, shopping, ( everything we otherwise so from Turkey, Croatia etc. know) only very limited. working hours and work breaks in Corsica will be very specific provisions. Even at the hotel bar has a lunch break fully respected. After the beach around 3:00 pm time just an espresso on the terrace would be nice possible, but unfortunately without espresso. In the city just haircut? Not without an appointment. Our budget was unplanned but Lasting conserved. Therefore the pocket money enough but definitely for yet another holiday. The breakfast in the restaurant was after Landesitte, much lattes and jam sometimes a bit sliced cheese and boiled ham. We had but also expect and just a backup. Evenings there was a warm buffet with various sorts of meat, fish, vegetables and potatoes etc. offered. In addition, there was always salad bar, plentiful cheese, fruit, desserts and so on. Was remarkable. We were extremely happy, has neither. But if you stay in the restaurant not a recluse. It klirrt ( falling plates or cutlery) always somewhere, but that didn't disturb me obviously anyone. In conclusion, that we at a great rate already in Nov 2009 booked. We were completely satisfied against this background and more pleasantly surprised. One should be recorded. If you spend money on Corsica, will usually extremely expensive (especially services). For example. Sunscreen, small bottle of, in the supermarket 12 , - € in the specialty store then about 40 , - €. Parking, secure, in Ill Rousse 15 , -€ ( go but also for free by the harbor, but with a little walk though). As a pure beach holiday to relax and rejuvenate or even with the children definitely recommendable.
