Club Bor - great hotel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIt was a club area, firmly in the hands of Neckermann. That meant that almost only German guests and a few Czechs or Dutch book this hotel. The area was all very well maintained. We had a nice, spacious rooms. Some days before the end of our holiday is the ventilation in our bathroom broke down. This was quickly fixed by the in-house technician, without that we point out! The cleaning lady obviously had reported the defect. The service at the bars and in the restaurant was very friendly, fast, and good. We noticed that only the water of the pool during the whole season never cleaned. In the first days of our stay it was still very warm and from our balcony above the pool from above the water but very yellow. Then came a strong rain and the next day the water was a long time yellow. That made us to .......
Location
The beach is easily reachable. Shopping possibilities for shoes, clothes etc There were more than enough. Bars, restaurants and everything one's heart desired. However the season ends in mid September. From 15 daily. 09 . we could watch more completely closed stalls and shops. The Aquapark in Sunny Beach ends on 20. 09 . With the public bus leads to about 10 - 15 minutes to the old town of Nessebar. Price per person: 1 leva (0.50 EUR). To the airport Burgas by bus about 30 minutes.
Very friendly, good service. Everyone spoke good German.
Gastronomy
The food was generally good, the quality. However, there are more than 2 weeks - considered - only little variety in food. And the downside of all inclusive is that if you are having dinner there every day for lunch and dinner buffet find a very similar, this at the end then didn't more so delicious.
Sport & Entertainment
Table tennis, pool table (surcharge). Entertainment almost every day by very nice hosts. Volleyball, archery, air rifle shooting, boccia, aerobics, Tae Boe, water polo. Around the pool there are many high trees of high season safe pleasant shade, in September but you are looking forward for each one ray and so are often the trees in the way. Water quality in the pool was pretty concern (see above) There are mats and towels from the hotel, you could probably against a deposit of 20 EUR. Beach umbrellas are available.
Room
Nice room, adequately furnished. International TV channels. ARD, ZDF, RTL, Sat1, with international channels. Hair dryer available, spacious room with carpeted floors.
Tips and recommendations
In September the water in the sea great warm! We had about 25°C water temperature. During the second week of our stay the sea water was warmer than the outdoor temperature! Unfortunately in the second. Week rain a couple of times and it was noticeably cooler. highly recommended are so, because the first two weeks as all shops, etc. Thoroughly open. One should take insect repellent as there are some mean mosquitos on their way!
