Club Hotel Tirreno

The hotel is separated only by a naturstrasse from the beach. Idyllic situation. The most necessary can be bought in the hotel-own shop. Some hundred meters far away is a small “Dörfli”, where again 2-3 supermarkets as well as a pharmacy are. Transfer to the airport about 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours. There are parking possibilities sufficient, even if one cannot rent an hotel-own parking lot. Beside the hotel are 3-4 restaurant/bars.

The hotel personnel is very friendly. Many speak German, in particular at the reception. The room cleaning takes place every 2 days (new cloths, face-cloth etc.). The cleaning of the rooms might be better some more. We had pitch that we could refer the room only around about 18,30 h.

The meal is good. Unfortunately the sardische Touch is missing. Many meals remind rather of Switzerland as at Sardinien. In the evening there is in each case 3 buffet (hors-d'oeuvres, main foods, desserts). Large selection. In particular the Frühstücksbuffet is very versatile with fresh fruits, muesli, different Jogurts, Omeletten, scrambled egg with bacon, whole-meal bread and weissbrot. Meat, cheese etc. the hotel has beside the main food hall 2 bars and pizzeria at the beach. The price performance ratio is correct. 1 liter of mineral water costs for example € 2.50. A Grappa € 3. -- to 3. 50. Compared with other hotels on Sardinien the prices are very human.

By us one did not use, since we undertook all day trips. The pool is very large and very much maintained. A paradise for children!

We were accommodated in a Studio. These are divided very appropriate and have also a small Kochnische. They are in bungalow well-behaved, two-story buildings (per complex in each case 8 of Studios). Televisions can be rented if necessary (€30 per week).

The price performance ratio is very good for Sardinien conditions. For us May is the most ideal travel time, since everything flowers and is still pleasant the temperatures. This year was however very warm it (approx. 30 degrees). We undertook trips after Posada (tower), Budoni, San Teodoro, Orosei etc. also the mountain world are very beautiful (for example round trip S. Ana, Lula, Lodè) or Bitti - there one can buy good Pane Carasau - different quality classes. The beaches are very beautiful in this area - like everywhere on Sardinien. Partly nature-leave stop wild. In this area there are many Pinien at the beach - simply wonderful, this shade-PEND-ends trees. The longest beaches are La Cinta, La Caletta as well as the beach of Orosei. Also the protected area Biberosa, close by the hotel Tirreno is worth an attendance. One loosens a ticket with the entrance and may then with the car or to foot generally speaking park induce itself (per day only a certain number of visitors is accepted). there are 5 small herzige bays to discover. Besides humid areas are in this park.
