Only mediocre riu standard *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is in good condition and well maintained. Compared with other riu's You want a simple impression. It is very loud during the day with music, entertainment, gardening. The hotel is situated very isolated. You can walk along the beach to the 1, 5 kilometer away riu palace go. Otherwise, you are dependent on taxis. Hotel shuttle bus or public buses does not exist. The hotel organised taxi service is so expensive.
There are no bike or scooter rentals-with good reason. You would just on the motorway-similar main street from the hotel. Even when jogging remains only the busy street.
In the hotel area there were problems with the plumbing (between building 1 and the tennis court). The first days we couldn't use the balcony and the door had to keep them closed. It was expensive, with good success. In (3 floors) the buildings there are no elevators.
The beach chairs in the area of the two pools were extremely tight. The totally inadequate mats for the hard plastic. From 7:30 was regularly all reservations. The cushions were in a bad condition.
The beach is narrow, is however okay and is raked every day. The water is very clear and calm. The pool is not very big and is marked by buoys. Outside of the private jet ski boards-with high speed and locate customer.
The entertainment offer was rather lean. The only good thing was, were Wasselball, beach volleyball and water aerobics.
'Technical' sports such as arc shooting, luftgewehr shooting were not offered. On the beach there were two table tennis plates from concrete. The sand around the rain was so far clean, smaller players could hardly on the plate. The TT-game was a fun.
The staff are very friendly. This applies to all areas: front desk, service, entertainment, service...
The food was okay. I have experienced it but in every other riu better.
The selection was 'manageable ' and they changed from day to day, nothing much. Even in the three restaurants with service it was the same.
The supper was remarkably good and varied. 'Today is the rating day' I thought. So was it also. For dessert there was the obligatory questionnaire ☺
The evening programme started with the kids disco, if there were any. Then there were a few little original adult games. Of 21:30 began the show. It was satisfactory.
Great is the free fast wireless internet access,. For people without their own PC is an internet cafe. This is however expensive.
