Great beach vacation- beautiful Mexico! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe beach was very clean and the quality of the water was unique. The staff were always helpful and accommodating. Great service. The food is definitely not five-star value, with the exception of the barbecue in the main restaurant (every second day in the outdoor area). Lunch was two-star food. Recommendation: in Playa del Carmen (5 minutes by taxi- four euros) you can get good food. Playa del Carmen offers everything that you need (bars, discos, restaurants, shops...) Tip: no trips available to book in the hotel, for example an excursion with TUI costs 130 euros- the same trip in the city was booked for 30 euros. Tip for excursions: Cozumel with the ship from Playa del Carmen is $26 for a return. Rent a car for 45 dollars a day. This island is wonderful, at every corner there are small bars with great views over the sea. Conclusion: wonderful country, very nice people, great holiday - Downside: it gets a B for the food in the hotel. Nevertheless recommendable ☺
