Good, inexpensive City Hotel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe would recommend this hotel despite the described defects due to the good price/performance ratio for a city breaks to stay for a long weekend.
The hotel is very big and consisted of two Häsuern. Between the two main houses is a large courtyard, the partially covered, so that one could dry between the two houses can commute.
The room was functional, but comfortably furnished. Above all, it scored with a large closet, where you can easily put everything. The bathroom has a glass brick shower. Everything is very clean.
For large humans it is inconvenient, that the bed in alcove is available, so that no foot freedom is the beds, but it was unfortunately always with your feet against the wall meets.
We really enjoyed the breakfast, that offers a wide selection and especially with lots of fresh fruit and freshly prepared food was extremely impressive. Unfortunately the breakfast room but from the atmosphere, cafeteria.
The hotel is located in the former industrial area of Leipzig, which means, that some houses, also in the vicinity of the hotel, has not yet been refurbished and the area around the hotel therefore optically not very attractive. Furthermore, the hotel is far out of the center.
This disadvantage but we didn't find particularly negative, as it is in the location of the hotel this with the car from the freeway, quick and easy to reach and the occasional tram directly in front of the hotel in 15 minutes in the city center.
For the first time ever in a hotel review we must criticise at the front desk.
The lady was very rude in tone and very unhelpful when answering simple questions, such as the best way in the city center. This is a shame, because the Hotel from the beginning of your stay a bad impression.
Tip: the hotel has an underground car park, which you can use free of charge. Here, we must ask immediately on arrival.
