Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AHotel in general is very good, albeit with some little things, which do not fit. Rooms: plenty of room, clean, nothing special. With closed balcony and air-conditioning (but not completely) fairly quiet (our room was not facing the street). It was cleaned every day, and it was also clean. Hotel: Delfina art even small, almost nothing; in the sister hotel Delfina beach more. There are two smaller pools (adults and children) with pool chairs and sunshades; however, these are relatively fast in the shade in the afternoon (and relatively cool, at least in September). Note: in the lobby (Delfina art, not Delfina beach!), there is free Wi-Fi. If you want in the room on-line, you have to buy a relatively expensive access (from five euros for 90 minutes). When it rains (and this is unfortunately sometimes happens), you get on the way to the room, wet feet, since the water poured not reasonable. Food: we had breakfast on site; the selection was rather small, but it was more than enough. If you are going to the Delfina beach, you get a larger selection. Also at the dinner (only in the Delfina beach) is the choice for a four stars hotel ** relatively small (a-two kinds of meat, a-two 'classic' side dishes, one type of fish, one type of pasta, two/three kinds prepared vegetables, plus a soup, a couple of salads and vegetables, plus three-four cakes and fruit). We say so time: Jened evening all of us found something, which he enjoyed. If you every evening three-four star delicious * food want, there is a problem. Children: for the possibilities directly at the hotel nothing except for the pool. However, there is a playground Delfina beach, and most of the other hotels also (one comes everywhere problem-in). Children (kids disco etc.) entertainment there are-we found it not so great, is however certainly a matter of taste. If you went out of the hotel and the sea, within five minutes to two facilities for children: fun park (with cats children, puppies, kangaroos, mini-scooters, etc., but also the mini golf, and complimentary Wi-Fi; entrance is free) and Fantasia-land (slides, trampolines, game facilities including kitchen, children cars etc.; entrance four euro inclusive drinks). Location: the hotel is actually across the street from the ocean, and the road is very busy. There is no traffic light crossing yet, so don't expect, that the cars stop. However, the street is not really dangerous-you have to be careful. The beach is however not directly behind the street-you can go either through the Delfina beach, or (much faster) on the opportunities to the beach (more to the beach later). The Delfina beach is across the street and about 500 meters to the left-not so bad, but also nothing, where you can for one minute run across. Hundred meters away from the hotel there is a bus stop, after georgioupolis and Chania and Rethymnon and Heraklion in the other direction. Furthermore, there are a lot of excursions. The fun trains (you couldn't overlook) drive, among other things, the water falls (not very impressive-a few small artificial cases) and to kournas-Lake (a bathing amusements for five euro). Shopping & food: you can get everything in life for those of the kids shopping street, which runs parallel to the main road and directly at the hotel. Food (fruit & vegetables), bath accessories, and everything, what the heart desires vacation. Rates are for a pure tourist nest quite moderate. In the street there are many taverns-restaurants-bars; the rates are totally okay (five-ten euro for main course), and everyone found something determined, which tasted good. Beach: we were almost always in front of the hotel eliros. The beach is very nice, with fine sand and flat, clean and pleasant. Two beach chairs plus umbrella cost 6 euro per day, and there were always enough free (but it was the end of September). The beach is about four kilometer to the left and to the right to communicate in other languages was also about four kilometer; it was sometimes sandy, gravelly or sometimes mixed. It was rather windy, and the waves were often quite high (but at the whole North Coast be), but nevertheless, you could usually good for swimming (also applies for infants) or on the water sand castles build. All in all, we were not dissatisfied; however, we would book at the next time a hotel by the sea.
