Dellas Boutique Hotel

The hotel is set back from road which leads to the Meteora monasteries. It is an ideal starting point for the monasteries and the surrounding areas. It is right up between the towns of Kalambaka and Kastraki. In both places you could go with no problems walking.The Metora monasteries are in a few minutes away by car - as well as the unique landscape - an absolute sensation.

Very friendly and attentive staff! The hotel manager speaks very good German, having lived many years in Germany. We were, on the first day, as was simply a coincidence, the only guests. The buffet but was completely and comprehensively created. I thought that was very remarkable and extraordinary. This is an appreciation towards the guest. My compliments. I do not think any hotel would have made this effort.

A very good and rich breakfast. There were several cakes and biscuits, orange juice, various teas, coffee, bread, toast, jam (homemade), yogurt, fruit, scrambled eggs, etc. offered.It was reloading again and again so that the full selection for each guest - even for late risers - was present.

Large rooms, all equipped with high-quality furniture. The rooms have balconies with high-quality garden chairs - no cheap plastic. Our room was overlooking the back garden and had no views of the mountains Metora. There it was heavenly calm with the evening sun!The balcony door was fitted with a mosquito net, which could be drawn down as needed, I've also never seen in Greece.

It was a real comfortable hotel with a unique and very good service. In this hotel you can stay a longer time. The area is unique. We had a tip from the hotel owner to get just to the nearby Pindus Mountains (approximately 1 hour drive by car). There we felt like in Switzerland. Snow-capped mountains, green meadows, deciduous forests and brown cows with bells around their necks. The monasteries are worth seeing, even if the stairs sometimes be a little exhausting. Keeps you fit!
