Modern and well-kept hotel close to the airport *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AModern hotel near the airport Schiphol. Overall the hotel is well-kept, the decor was modern. In the hotel itself can be eaten at night. There is a restaurant for high standards, along with a rustic 'pub' with restaurant. These prices 'sports and media bar in Kneipentil not really cheap, but it is delicious. If you wanted to eat out, so you can do so either at the airport or in the city. And so we come to the drawback: the hotel is located in a modern district close to the Schiphol Airport. There is a free shuttle to the airport (20 minutes takes about), this but only between six hours and 24 hours. the evening after twelve from Amsterdam city back to the hotel, you need to take a taxi. From the Airport one comes then by train into the city (per person for about 8, -€ there and back). The train takes about 20 minutes, too, regularly drove several times an hour. You get the Amsterdam central station at. From there metro and tram connections to the important places. Much do you but also within walking distance. The hotel itself is okay, rooms are large, equipped with everything you need, high-quality and again, great bathroom, tv with many German channels. Refrigerator in the room, hair dryer, safe. Soft beds, thick doors, that makes a good hotel. There is also a pool, this offer could we not use however. Breakfast was great, huge buffet, sausage, cheese, fish, fresh fruit salad, champagne, juice, hot drinks, yoghurt, muesli, cereals, a variety of breads and rolls, sweet pastries... Everything was great. Furthermore, there were eggs, sausage, etc. the buffet was never crowded, perhaps because, that the hotel wasn't very busy. So all in all for a short trip to Amsterdam absolutely recommendable, if you don't mind about 40 minutes drive. Tip: the shuttle bus from the airport to the quarter or quarters (for example, 5:15 P.M. or 5:45 P.M.). So train ride are, you don't have to wait. From the hotel the shuttle is always half or full hour.
