The Doubletree hotel was the best hotel on route 66 round trip. We had a very nice welcome upon check-in, even got a freshly baked warm cookie will be distributed at check-in. Had a room with king size bed and we got one. The room was a good size, the bed was so big and so soft and comfortable. In-room LCD-TV, coffee machine, tea. There was no refrigerator. The view from our room was right to route 66 and toward the supermarket. There were no noise sound. Bathroom with bath tub was large, nicely furnished and clean. In the hotel there was a fitness center with great modern fitness equipment, fruit, water and towels. And there was also a pool in- and outdoors. It was well maintained, and nicely decorated with beach chairs. There was also a hot tub on the inside, but the water was a bit cloudy before, so we didn't use it. The location of the hotel is central right next K-Mart, Wal-mart, steakhouse, and other shops. The entire hotel is furnished in a very modern and appealing. Orange color scheme, glass lift etc. Breakfast was not included, there was a Frühckstücks buffet dinner in the restaurant. But we didn't use it, I can therefore not call the cost. Parking was free of charge directly in front of the hotel.
