Eemshotel

I discovered this hotel on eBay. Promises a Kuschelwochende hergerichtetem with extra room, welcome cocktail, a 3 -course menu on the second evening and a farewell gift. Unfortunately the bad organization started from the moment of arrival. A waitress asked for our name and gave us the room key. There was no further information. We are right now to your room and then I was the "extra arranged room". Extra presented was a Plastikrose and a red cloth Tulle. It was a good idea to build a hotel on stilts, but it was all very easy. The view over the water was great. When we went back down, we were greeted by a another woman (boss? Receptionist? ) Immediately after the hotel credit asked. a good day, welcome or so. There were no information. So I decided to ask about everything, when breakfast, if you rent bicycles, etc. I asked for the expiry of a period of 3 -course menu on the next evening, whether a time must specify etc. It was easily answered that it does not matter when we were coming, a table would have been 18 hours making reservations for us. The next evening when we arrived at the restaurant at 7pm, you could take our name nothing from, therefore there was no table for us. Short hand to us in the very drafty Verandateil get overbooked so that they could place people, which we cannot agree. In the end we then got a table in the restaurant. The food, breakfast as well as the 3 -course dinner, were average. Breakfast was missing out and the waitress was clearly overwhelmed. The quality of the evening meal was very good, especially for Dutch standards, but it was all profit. So for the lower rate you pay for the eBay gift card, not much. It could be much nicer as I would have given this weekend my husband. But you are now time, the Dutch. The nights are in Holland generally very expensive and you can forget about the Dutch cuisine.
