A night worth it *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AOne of the highest buildings on the Canadian side, directly above the Canadian falls. Big hotel, with lots of families, all nationalities. Only one-bedroom suites and a living/bedroom. View depending on the booking on the place Niagara Falls, of the Canadian falls, of the American Falls or in both cases. Depending on the location but the view is a bit troubled by the next door to the hotel. The higher the better the view.
Location
Located directly above the Canadian falls, which the larger and much nicer. You can directly below the hotel a 35/40 (expensive) directly to the falls or descend into drive up to the hotel. A direct walk down there is not, it has a beautiful scenic walk on top of the falls during the casino with small observation decks, past the well worth a visit. The place Niagara Falls is a fair park with all sorts of attractions, just totally laid out for tourism. Some like it, some not. The outlet mall on the American side is absolutely recommendable, we had some bargain.
Easy early check-in ( circa 12 hours) with friendly staff at the front desk. Room cleaning could have been better, the carpet in our suite was not really clean. Parking, either some outside (shuttle bus) to USD 20 , -- or directly in the hotel's garage (valet) to USD 30 , -- .
Gastronomy
Breakfast in the price including, buffet and order-to-cook-station with freshly prepared eggs, omelets, etc. Although nice view from the restaurant of the falls, but otherwise Kantinenklima somewhere with a bit. Anyway the selection was rather good by American standards. But breakfast buffets in the United States are simply not with breakfast buffet for example. comparable in Germany (for example. A four star hotel).
Sport & Entertainment
Our kids in the evening the pool and used the gym and enjoyed. An internet corner (free of charge).
Room
Our suite on the 19th floor was a corner suite and therefore a bit more spacious than the other. We had a large bedroom with two queen-size beds, a bathroom with whirlpool, separate toilet with shower, vanity sink are outside the bathroom, large minibars, microwave and a living/bedroom with 2 sofa beds (normal suites are only 1 sofa bed). The sofa bed is very comfortable for 1 person, for 2 persons gets a bit cramped ( circa 1.40 ). We had a view of the Canadian falls, but with a small proportion of the falls that they covered by the next door to the top of the village, Niagara Falls and the hinterland. Each of the two bedroom had its own TV.
Tips and recommendations
Definitely look at the falls at night. They are very well lit ( rainbow). The scenic walk right just below the hotels but on top of the falls during past the casino is highly recommended. If you on the Canadian side, down along the river to the Canadian Falls walk toward American Falls or vice versa. Nice views of both cases.
