Simply a dream! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ANoble, modern hotel with 30 floors, spacious entrance area and swimming pool and a restaurant on the 16th floor with a great view of downtown Miami.
Location
In the middle of downtown Miami. In a few minutes you can walk to a stop of the Metromover. A few-minute drive takes you to a kind of shopping centre on Biscayne Bay in which, among other things, the Hard Rock Cafe of Miami can be found. After the commuters are out of the city, there is not much left to do on one's own in Downtown Miami. The streets are deserted then and some shady characters are walking around. But that is no problem if you have a car.
It was a wonderful location close to Dadeland Mall for shopping.
The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Nothing to complain about. Because in downtown Miami there is no parking available on the streets, you best use the practical but expensive valet parking service ($ 32 per night). The car is then driven directly to the entrance and brought back to the garage when it is no longer needed.

Chic restaurant on the 16th floor of the hotel. There we have taken our Continental Breakfast. Normally, this is not included in the overnight rate. But we had booked through Thomas Cook, and thus got vouchers for the breakfast. The breakfast was served. There was tea or coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, a bowl of fresh fruit, small pastries and toast or bagel with jam. Everything was very tasty, as was the sandwich which we had once brought to our room. Everything was very clean. Water was constantly provided in the lobby. In the morning there was coffee and tea. In the afternoon hot chocolate with cinnamon, chocolate chips or marshmallows. All that was for free.
Sport & Entertainment
4 pools divided into 2 areas on the 16th floor of the hotel. Everything very spacious and clean. Great sun beds and a breathtaking view of Miami. Towel service was available, water could be got for free there. Gym and spa were also on the 16th floor, but we did not make use of either. In our room was a computer with wireless internet access. Your own computer could also be used to go online, either via cable or WLAN.
Room
We had the cheapest room. Everything very clean and spacious. Chic and modern. We had a balcony. From the 19th floor we had a great view. Large bathroom with a huge shower and bathtub, and a separate toilet and 2 sinks. A computer was ready to use, with which one could use the Internet, among other things. There was also a hair dryer in the room, if necessary you could also borrow a straightener or curling iron.
Tips and recommendations
Take the Metromover through downtown, so you get a good overview of the city and all that for free even.
