Familotel Seitenalm

The location of the hotel is great, surrounded by mountains and different tracks to go hiking, bike riding, etc. The hotel staff is very helpful in helping with the excursions possibilities.

All the staff was very helpful and willing to provide a great service. The family running the hotel takes care of all the details making sure things are working properly. The staff in the restaurant and the staff in charge of the kids activities were very good. We asked for a baby bath and it was in our room even before us!!!

The food is very good. Breakfast and lunch are buffet type. Dinner is 5-dishes with delicious tastes. Dinner selection for the main courses are made amongst three options in the morning. Desserts are also very good. As an improvement, I would have liked that the dinner schedule was a bit more extended. Time for dinner is from 6 to 8. With babies, this is more or less the time that they take theirs baths and go to bed, so some time it was a bit stress to do everything at the same time and we could not enjoy our dinner as much as we would have liked it.

Lots of activities to do and for all ages. My husband and I were able to go hiking, take relaxing baths in the pool, do archery, play tennis, etc... Our oldest kid also had lots of entertainment activities at the kids club. The facilities for the leisure activities are very well organized and managed. Also, it is very good how much help the hotel provides with having everything needed for the performance of the activities (such as tennis rackets and balls, baby stroller for inside and outside the hotel, baby backpacks for hiking, etc)

Our room was about 40sqm. The size was quite sufficient for the four of us, having a queen bed, a baby cot and an additional bed for our three years old. The bathroom was separated the toilet area and the bath area. We had sufficient storage place in closets. The room was very well equipied for kids, we were provided with a water-warmer, cleaning supplies for the baby bottles, dipper changing equipment, etc... This was very helpful since traveling with a baby.

Our telephones did not have much connection, but may be this is because they are from other country. In any case, we did not miss it
We had internet connection in Wifi but only in the reception and bar area (No additional charge). In the rooms, we were told that the connection was by Lan, but we did not use it.
