Solaria Holiday Apartment Davos
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ANot luxurious, but newly renovated , well-maintained, and an EXCELLANT value. The south-facing balcony had a very attractive view of the mountains.
Location
A short way out of town, but consequently very quiet.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very efficient. I requested a mobile phone and a microwave and it was ready for me when we arrived. I told them we liked the room we had last year and they assigned us the same room. We travel extensively and we have rarely experienced such careful attention to our requests.

Not luxurious, but very clean and well-designed. The holiday apartment was very well furnished. The dishes and cooking utensils were of excellent quality. You could get clean towels, etc. anytime you wanted them.
Tips and recommendations
They will loan you a cell phone for free and a fondue pot with fuel. These people are great.
Restaurants in Switzerland are ridiculously expensive for Americans and the food is boring for sophisticated palates. Buy food at the supermarket and eat in your Solaria studio!
