Ferienpark Landal Esonstad

The area was very nicely arranged. Each cabin has garden with table and chairs and a shed the lock. Unfortunately we didn't have the bikes which soon wished I had. As we really had great weather than expected. It is located on Lauwersmeer that is a little bay of the North Sea. Around the resort is actually only water and meadows. The next town is Anjum with a small supermarket. The next big town was Dokkum and worth a visit is about 12 km away. So you should have a car; (o) We also noticed the for so many people on the grounds it runs. It was (although it was full), not crowded or hectic on the contrary a great and informal atmosphere! Great Biking trail, great scenery, small villages (with really cute inns), right on the 151-155 to Lauwersmeer with a small beach, Groningen about 1 hour drive, Dokkum circa 10 minutes., leuwaarden about 30 minutes.

Staff at reception was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, we did not really clean upon arrival house you. We discovered a plastic bottle under the sofa from the vacationers before and the kitchen was not very clean. Maybe I'm there only to clean and am used to something else. Anyway we reported it to the front desk and the next day the complaint was taken care of. The cleaning lady was about the condition freaked. when we had still apologized. We took it easy and have seen it was rectified top a bottle of house wine. Otherwise we can't complain.

There were a restaurant right on the town square. We had the 1 . Now and found the food not as bad as the previous comments. Well my Ente was still rare and walked back. Swimming pool with a large pool, a children's pool with mini slide and a jacuzzi. We stayed there twice and have to say it was more than adequate. There is no Erlebnisbad as on the Centerparcs but our kids had a lot of fun. Also thought it was a big area and a small swimming pool?! But we have to say it was not crowded and had always a spot at the edge. Otherwise there was a playground, with climbing tower and slide, seesaw, sandbox and a trampoline and right next to a football field. So everything children might need. Nothing more, nothing less perfectly adequate.

We had a 6 persons house last minute with 3 bedrooms and with the luxury amenities (this included for example. LCD tv, sauna, solarium ... But we didn't use that! ). Large and spacious and beautifully decorated. Our children immediately felt comfortable. The beds are very soft but ok for a week. Well to house are something else. 24 -Very nice houses in among the trees.

A very nice facility for those seeking peace family. We just wanted to get away from the daily grind and spent a lot of time with games and activities. Lots to do as kites, cycling, Trettbootfahren or all day-trips in the market. I can only tip to make the trip to Schiermoonikoog. You can directly from the area with a small ferry to drive there and for example. A Traktorfahrt to seals beach or a Planwagen drive. We opted for the Planwagen drive ... It was really beautifully! Great area for the kids an experience.
