Great area, nice holiday, 24 -encountering corners *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe "park" is really nice, just something other than the "normal" Landals CenterParcs, etc. All houses have direct access to the water, the streets look really what you would expect from an old Dutch town. However What annoyed us was the such T. But strong traffic in the park. While at the entrance there is a gate, but this was never closed.
Location
The Park (like most I know) in the middle of nowhere! We do have before it was clear. The landscape is beautiful, directly behind the dike. You should definitely take bikes. Apart from the main stream of roads there are great biking trails as far as the eye can see. Recommend a visit to the town of Dokkum, quaint! Whoever would rather like shopping in the large Victorian should go to Groningen: mexx, H&H, Zara etc. , just everything the Damenherz desired; -).
In and out of the the front desk staff was very friendly, also with the German language worked for me. Our younger son loved the© y bollo-club. Simple, friendly service, but the short loved it.
Gastronomy Unused
It is a large restaurant and a bar. From the outside Looked neat. Since we didn't use however I can't statement forthcoming. Thoroughly recommended is the "charcoal" in the park. The Kartoffelstäbchen Belgian EXPRESSION were delicious and plentiful! My tipp: Take a bucket for four people! it is far more than if you ordered four single portions.
Sport & Entertainment
Pool: big enough with some Syringes, jets and the like. In men's and women's locker rooms could be mopped from time to time! Here was the afternoon always "land below". Otherwise there was a not overly large playground, a fenced in playing (right on the water, very smart), a Hüpfkissen and a tennis court.
Room
The cleanliness: You have to be aware of the you're not in a 5 star hotel lives! Kitchen, refrigerator, bathrooms etc. was okay (toilet and sink were clearly cleaned prior to our arrival). You can not to right in the corners, window frames etc. see! It was however very so that you without having to sit on the sofa and infectious could use the dining room table. Facilities at the hotel in terms of size, decor, cutlery were good. Microwave, toaster, senseo, dishwasher. Everything available and also clean!
Tips and recommendations
We had luck with the weather, from 10 days only one day of rain. The temperature was the whole time so that you could outdoors enthusiasts and accordingly were our boys more than at home. So it was holiday for the parents! All in all a completely great holiday. I can recommend Landal Esonstad.
