Landal Ferienpark like you should be able to expect *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ALarge resort on the Landal chain. There are different sizes of houses mobile homes to campground all accommodation. Everything clean and in good order, it is in the grounds constantly cleaned. For example. Despite vast number of dogs ( upright attended at all times) is not the usual droppings from cities to see. Benefits are all to book extra, but worth the price. We had, for example. A Fahrradpackage with child seat (you can but you can also take the same price) as well as welcome pack ( assortment with free service breakfast, dish towels, bath) as well as Kaminzubehör ( wood, lighters, and something like Esbitblöcke with 2 h burn), we didn't regret it.
Location
In the north of the island, so bike rides in the south: (15 km) was quite far. just about 1 km to the beach, year-round 28 paal catered restaurant. In the off season but closed 2 days a week. Cocksdorp about 1.5 km away, where supermarket, ATM, doctor and some restaurants. The Ijsbörderi little further.

I think, there were kids activities, but also did not use it. For example. (surcharge). Pool not too big but ok, with lazy river, fun pool, slide and 20 cm wading pools with Minirutsche. Several children's playground, mini golf and water playground. A PC with Internet access in a separate building or in the buildings over the TV (didn't try it out) or with your own laptop and network cables (can for 9 . -€ Also be purchased) over the Settopbox. No wi-fi.
Room
Had a house for 6 persons, ground level as last minute reservations. The living room / Esskombination is nice and big. The bedroom was very small, you can see on the internet but on the maps and can decide if you want to. For 6 I think it too small. Furniture was totally completely, the kitchen ( to Zitruspresse, skimmers, etc. everything you need, but no corkscrew). Microwave, cooker with 4 flames, kettle, coffee maker, refrigerator with freezer. Terrassenbestuhlung with umbrella. Vacuum cleaner, well as a clothes horse, baby cot and highchair, fireplace, hi-fi Mikroanlage, TV, internet S. O. No phone. Bathroom and separate toilet, with bath and shower. Also very compact.
Tips and recommendations
Travel time? For anyone who has not yet on the North Sea, should inform yourself. That was a matter of taste. Good value, but also because we had last-minute discount. Highly recommended for comfortable vacations for walking or cycling. But also everything on the island. Texel is for me for a car (since with baby lot with) better than the other islands in the waddenzee, as there are deep waters from Den Helder tidal regardless and fast ( 20 minutes voyage in high season) at 30 -minute intervals.
