Next to the upscale Bay restaurant (7:00 - 10:00 pm), there was also the richardson's Bistro (10:00 - 9:00 PM) and the hazards bar(3:00 PM until ....... ). The food is not cheap (from 28 A$) but tastes excellent. A wide selection of wines contributes to the dining experience. If the weather allows, you can also on the terrace overlooking the sea. Through the remote location puts you almost forced to eat there. The Bistro offers a bit cheaper dishes, but is not comfortable, Resembling a fast food. The breakfast buffet (from 7 AM ) is amazing. Everything the heart could desire is available. Fried eggs, poached eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, cereal, fruit salads and fresh fruit. Toast and rolls, honey, jam, everything. The HAZARDS bar (open from !5.00) has comfortable armchairs and a fireplace the lit wärmendem fire, with a cocktail or cappucino, read a book or over the sea, nice you can not spend a rainy afternoon or evening.
Sport & Entertainment
The hotel has a tennis court. There are many hiking trails starting here and you can walk along the beach jog along. From here In fact you can explore the Freycinet National Park. Rent a mountain bike cost 1/2 day A$15 , whole day A$25 .
Room
The rooms are spacious and some on stilts. We had room #55 (Freycinet cabin) and it was pure luxury. SANCTIONS walking in the front door on, is only a vestibule where you the bags in the room and the shoes. A small cupboard with vacuum cleaner and ironing board, broom and dustpan are right next door. When we entered the spacious room playing soft music. Next to a double bed, a chair and couch with table and chair is situated on the side, right by the window, a couch. There is a zweitürigen closet with a safe-deposit box, two bath robes and slippers. A row granite vanity table was used on the stereo, with MP3 fähigem CD player. There is a TV, which I didn't necessarily annoying. A fridge with minibar, coffee/tea making facilities, a box of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cups and glasses everything was available. Air conditioning is in a remote control for the cold days and there is also a heating. A large bathroom with shower and jacuzzi bathtub there was also. The light in the bathroom and room were to dim. Also a balcony partly covered, with two chairs, case nothing was missing.
Tips and recommendations
Use the park where the lemonthyme Lodge is cost per day and per car 24 A$. If you are traveling without a car in the park per person 12A $. A hike to Wineglass Bay Lookout is a must and takes about 1.5 hours there and back. The extensive way leads up a bit steep, but not too strenuous. Also a path on the 422m high Mount Amos (there and back about 3 hour. ) is very strenuous. Still with a nice view of the most beautiful bay tasmania. There are also lots of organised tours: Cas. Wineglass to Wineglass experience with a 30 minute cruise and food from the finest (365 ), A$Bluestone Bay 4WD tour (3 hour. 70A $), on site like Oysters for instance on the Bay cruise & dinner, (cruise, with dinner 275 A $70 ), freycinet Horizons Photo Journey is free and took about 20 minutes. The hotel is ideally placed for several relaxing days to spend here. If we come back in Tasmania be traveling so we will definitely choose this hotel.
