Very good golf hotel, we will for sure come back
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe staff - all of them at the reception, the info counter, the main restaurant (we only used this one) etc. - was kompetent, friendly and helpful. We did not find anyone who was not at least speaking acceptable English. Most of them spoke good German as well. Everything was well maintained and clean. As we were there to play golf we did not use the pool area, the beach and the wellness area. Just had a look at all of these and everything looked good as well.
Hotel main building and rooms are about 150m from the pool area and the beach. There is no visual contact from the main building to the pool and beach. This may be a disadvantage for families with kids. As and advantage this set up makes the main building and rooms area much quiter the in other hotels.
For us especially important: the reservation of tee times worked without any problems. Reservations can be made with special rates for all other course of the area as well at the info desk. Just to mention - the lynx course has it's own shuttle service, which is much cheaper than a taxi. Gloria provides only shuttle service (about every 20 minutes) to the Gloria Golf Club, that serves the three Gloria courses.
Additionally to mention is that we found that many Russian guests were in the hotel. But there was never any problem or disturbance by them. They were just like all the other guests - mainly Germans and Scandinavians at the time we have been there. This may change at other times of the year when the hotel is fully booked.
For us it was a good choice of a hotel and we will surely choose it again.
