New year's Eve at the grand city hotel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AFor a short stay the hotel is definitely suitable, for longer than two nights but not recommended, because the hotel not in the most beautiful corner of Dresden Neustadt is. Because the hotel well served by the streetcar is connected, you can easily explore Dresden without a car. The comfort-rooms are very clean and spacious. The gray paint was rather took some getting used to. Our bathroom was very cramped, but clean and had all the necessary equipped. The breakfast room is modern in style bistro equipped, the selection of the buffet is okay. On new year's Eve we wanted to take a cozy dinner in the vaulted basement of the hotel to us and then the Eve in the old town. Unfortunately, this evening in the restaurant absolutely disappointing. The food was almost an hour to get them and was only served by demands. The quality of the food left much to be desired, and the settlement was the chaos. We had the impression, that the very young staff totally overwhelmed was. Despite the bad start in the new year's Eve, we still have a wonderful Celebration in the old town of Dresden spent.
