Nice short stay in North Holland *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AAt short notice we wanted to go on a night on the North Sea coast. Because we were traveling with a dog, I booked a hotel, which dogs allowed.
On arrival were the good parking. The reception at the hotel was very good. We arrived around eleven o 'clock at, the room should be available from 14 o' clock. The lady at the front desk tried their possible immediately, so as to offer us a room immediately. Fortunately this was then.
The room was very modern, in black/gray/white. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is a dream with deeper shower. A large balcony door led to a sufficiently large balcony. Here is a note, that there were no windows to open-only the balcony door, which one not open during his absence would (a balcony for two rooms). However, the room had a poor air conditioning. The LCD tv had only one German channel (ZDF), but it was not a factor. The hotel had free w-LAN access.
It was a bit odd, that there is no menu in the bar. We would like to have a cocktail drink-stayed in cocoa, cappuccino, however.
The breakfast in the morning was on the top floor in the restaurant. Here there was a wide breakfast with bread rolls, bread, cereal, yogurt, various cold cuts, really delicious orange juice, faced a Phan table scrambled eggs, sausage, etc.. Here no wishes remained unsatisfied-the view of the sea was also included.
Also very positive to mention is the very quiet location in Huisduinen, a small Roma tables suburb of den Helder. The many shopping possibilities to den Helder are only 3 kilometer.
A few words about the area. The beach in immediate vicinity to the hotel is attached. It is ideal for walks or tours with the bike. A few minutes walk south then but also a broad sandy beach will constantly overcrowded. However, the beach is 'above ' quite empty, which was nice. Drawback was however, that there is no Starndstühle/to rent beach chairs were. The next time a ceiling, is therefore one large towel into the luggage. For travelers with dogs this beach section is-dogs not on a leash and need to dig a lot of fun, in the sand and also get wet feet.
We really liked it very much and we wished we could have stayed longer a couple of days.
