Fantastic, relaxing, family-friendly holiday
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AMore than pleasantly surprised by our choice of hotel. We had a total chill-out holiday; the food far surpassed our expectations and we must have put on some weight with the generous amounts of top-notch food they provided for us. Many different cuisines were catered for, and you could even get a full English breakfast every day if you wanted it. Lots of tantalising treats awaited us each evening in the restaurant. The restaurant staff were so friendly and attentive to everyone's needs. We are already missing our meals there, as our stomachs have been spoilt over our stay. They have been rumbling since we returned to the UK because we are simply not used to eating such large meals every day! I must mention the fact that every child and young person was also made a fuss of by the waiting staff and welcomed into the restaurant. The pools were great, only disappointing thing was that they were on 3 separate levels of a steep hill which took some getting used to climbing in the heat. The weather was consistently fantastic during our stay. We would stay in this hotel again when we eventually return to Crete. The people there are very warm and friendly. George - we had a very good flight back and are already missing you and your team, and of course, your excellent food. Thank you for making us all feel like VIPs, even though we are normal working people. We have returned to reality now. Jason went back to work today and I have just finished all the holiday washing and drying (too many wet days here). We returned to black skyline, thick, low clouds overhead and rainy days here. Today is the first day of sustained sunshine. Just see how lucky you are to live there! Hope you and your family are very well. Michelle, Jason and Stuart Fisher (Greek notes).
