Grand Hotel Holiday Resort - highly recommended
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AVery enjoyable two weeks being looked after by very competent and professional staff. By the pool or of an evening there was always plenty to do with a very energetic and enthusiastic animation team to cater for both children and adults alike. The hotel was very clean and set across the road from the beach on a bit of a hill. This could be a disadvantage for the not so mobile, although the hotel did ferry about those who found the walk between their accommodation and the main hotel area a challenge. The rooms were of a good size, with air-con, two TVs and adequate storage facilities. The rooms were cleaned daily and the bed linen changed at regular intervals. The restaurant was light and airy, had a good selection of dishes to cater for most tastes. There was a bus stop outside the hotel, so this made getting about the island easy. The resorts of Hersonissos and Stalis were both within walking distance for those wanting to sample life outside the resort.
