Grand Hotel Holiday Resort

The direct hotel environment was not that attractive. a busy main street right in front of the door and rocky "beach". However there's a bus stop right in front of the door, from where you get very fast and at reasonabe price (1.10 Euro per person) to Cherssonisos. The minimarket in hotel is not that recommendable, it's a little bit smelly over there. Bar is nice where you can sit outside and watch the flying planes and rising moon over the mountains.

It's very hard to get along with German, but with English you get along really good. Unfortunately we didnt have a room on the arrival day (WE WERE ON OUR FEET FOR MORE THAN 24 HOURS) and it didnt seem to disturb anyone. One sent us to the beach for 2 und halb hours. Also the room cleaniness was different, sometimes it was cleaner, then again one could walk on dirty barefeet. also fallen things were not hung up again and there was spider web on the chair for 14 days. it was nice that we got a fruit basket and a bottle of wine for greeting. The safe costed in our room by the way 30 Euro.

Unfortunately we havent got a typical greek kitchen. one could already know 4days before what's gonna be on the next day, because it repeated itself all the time (especially at the breakfast). what we liked is that you could sit outside the restaurant. however it was often very full. also the prices for the drinks were very high, a bottle of water for 4,60 Euro. the choice at buffet was not that great and unfortunately the meals were a little bit warm till you get to your place and then you had to eat your food very fast.

WE LIKED VERY MUCH the silent pool (WHICH WAS NOT ALWAYS SILENT, as right in the near there was an animation pool). we have not found the internet connection till today and we just saw the turkish bath and the fitness rooms on the last day as we passed by with luggage. they were unfortunately not good signposted. the minimarket as already mentioned above is not recommendable, rather smelly. the evening animation in hotel beginns mostly only at 22:45 o'clock.

the room was normal, only unfortunately with the balcone to animationspool, so one can feel disturbed from that. there's a handtowel keeper in the balcone, which is unfortunately too small. in other respects the room and the furniture was good.

the weather was super sunny sunny sunny, the prices in general everywhere very high.
