Transportation to and from the hotel exceptionally good. *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AA highly recommended hotel, which also in Germany quite 4.5 stars would have earned. The location right on the lively Cespedes is great Parque. From there you are just a few minutes walk to the plaza mayor. Bank and Cadeca, as well as mini markets, other opportunities for shopping, restaurants, bars and so on in immediate nearby. In spite of the very central location, the hotel is an oasis of peace. Very courteous and competent service. Fast and friendly check-in with welcome cocktail and choosing. Our room was on the first floor with a large terrace and views of the Parque Cespedes as well as the Sierra del Escambray. The room the hotel is standard with silent and yet powerful air conditioning, two queen size beds, flat screen televisions, marble bathrooms and so on equipped. With the food we were very satisfied. We had already booked in Germany with half board, which was a great decision(17 euros vs. 35 CUC on site). Before we were in Trinidad, spent we stayed at the Iberostar Varadero few days. The preparation and quality of the food (freshness of the fruit, for example) as well as the ambience we found the Iberostar grand at least one in Trinidad excellent better iberostar Varadero in the dinner, you could choose between five (always the same) main courses. As we were three nights at the hotel, we tried everything again. We especially liked the rump as well as the prawns. There was a large buffet with a great selection of Hors d'oeuvre (including vitello tonnato, Norwegian salmon) and an extensive dessert buffet. Both the quality and quantity of breakfast as well as dinner was very good. For a good general impression fit the kind and competent service as well as the really good live music two nights. Other advantages of the hotel: very attractive bar with expensive (3.85 CUC-seven CUC) but it worthwhile cocktail as well as free Internet (very slow). Trinidad is a great city, in particular the magic developed in the late afternoon, when the day trippers leave the city with loads have. Absolutely in the evening visit the old town for dancing and/or listen to live music, cocktails slurp and the atmosphere. Furthermore, Trinidad because of the convenient location a good starting point for excursions in the surrounding area, for example hiking antes de Coll at top in the Sierra del Escambray, visit the Valle de los Ingenios or relax on the beach of Ancon. All in all, we really enjoyed the time in Trinidad and found the most beautiful of our Cuba-stay.
