Nice hotel with drawbacks *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe size of the hotel area, even at full occupancy of the individual homes/Bungalows the complex never seemed jammed and one found Community at the pools, as well as on the artificial beach with palm trees laid out a possibility to relax. For snorkeling the hotel's own reef is highly recommended and you can discover new things again and again (lionfish, Nemo, and so on). The buffets were always varied, nice and clean, but very hard to get used to the taste (cilantro). To recommend the buffet in el Sheikh and the fusion restaurant (reservation one day in advance). You could choose from six restaurants, grill by the pool and sweet bars. Of meat and cheese can we tasted just. In addition to mention, that you don't always exactly on the plates, which one ordered or the main ingredients in dishes missing (for example: the shrimp scampi salad in a missing, this one without reference simply by fish. On request it means then, they would 'from'... HaHaHa, this statement is applicable to get used to it). Our double room was sufficiently large, with balcony, air conditioning, hair dryer, CRT tv (with German channels) and free safe. The hand towels and beach towels were changed daily. The cleaning man was glad about tips and a beautiful sculptures therefor conjured out of towels. But very clean, the towels 'fresh ' never! And the tap water should be drunk in any case! We will have to abandon the general of the German standards, one may finally, let us not forget, that you are in a third world country. Possibilities for excursions are there each quantity. We have learned from experience, that the half as expensive, if you just outside the hotel, and does not own at the tour operator... (snorkel trip to RAS Mohamed: 45 €with ETI, 20 €for a local vendors). You can do good shopping in the 'old market'. Cost with the taxi between four and five euro each way. There is one talked over from the dealer and in his shop rauskomplementiert, however, you will find it here between the many junk shops also the one or other interesting. Here always the motto: barter, barter, barter! The traders always start with utopian prices! Tough and not let escape ☺ On the whole was lovely and relaxing vacation. The people are always friendly, helpful that the missing nothing and still not pushy.
