An area of about 17.000m² had 212 rooms. The biggest building (only 2 floors) provided 90 rooms, and the ones on the ground floor had a private pool. Moreover, the hotel provided villas with pools and private beach chairs with a canopy. The rooms had an appealing size, were in excellent condition and came with a flat screen TV and a DVD player. The bathroom had a tub and a shower.

In autumn, there were mainly German, Austrian and Swiss guests here. Plus a few Russian guests.

The age structrue ranged from about 3-70 years.

The hotel was right by the sandy beach with a few big stones. You might want to bring bathing shoes. There were enough beach chairs (poly rattan with cushions) and umbrellas available.

The hotel came with a convenience store, and a supermarket and restaurants were about 400 meters away.

The hotel was a bit outside of the town and was therefore very quiet. (We had been looking for quiet and found it.) Unfortunately, the hotel was in the entry lane of the airport (about 20 minutes away), so that we sometimes heard the planes. (But that didn't bother us.)

Service

The friendliness of the staff was perfect. They were nice and tried hard to satisfy the guests, without being pushy.

Almost all employees spoke German (perfectly).

At first, the room cleaning didn't take place until the afternoon. After asking the guest relation whether the cleaning could be done in the morning, our room was cleaned between 9 and 10am (like we had requested).

We had no complaints at all. Everything was super.

The hotel spa was GREAT. Apart from the usual treatments (massages, cosmetic treatments, manicure and pedicure), there was also an Ayurveda area (staff from India). The prices were normal.

Gastronomy

We only used the main restaurant because we had booked half board. The food tasted very good and was varying. For breakfast, a chef prepared fresh fried eggs, omelets, etc. on request. The service staff welcomed us at the table with freshly squeezed orange juice right away. For dinner, there were fresh vegetables (just perfectly cooked - super) every day. There were all sorts of meat and fish. The desserts were fantastic. Delicious pies (like from the pastry shop) as well as pudding and fruit.

There were also a Greek, an Asian and a Mediterranean restaurant in the hotel area. (But we didn't visit them.)

There was a nicely located hotel bar with plenty of chairs.

The prices for drinks were very high, as usual for 5 star hotels. (We always kept in mind that they had to earn money for 12 months of living in only 6 months. Therefore, we accepted it.)

Sport & Entertainment

For kids, there were the Grecoland (3-12 years) and a kid's pool. Apart from that, we didn't notice anything of the entertainment. But it was post season anyway.

The hotel bar offered soft live music from time to time.

There was WLAN available for a fee in the entire area. (Free for VIP members.) The library had 2 computers which you could use for free.

The beach was cleaned every day. There were enough poly rattan chairs with cushions, umbrellas and towels available on the beach and by the beautiful pool.

The pool bar offered toast, salad, fries, etc. (unfortunately a bit overpriced).

We had a double room on the first floor. The big balcony had a saftey glass railing. Therefore, we had a super view of the garden and the sea. The rooms had an appealing size, a flat screen TV, a DVD player and an air conditioning. The closet was big enough and had lots of hangers. A mini bar was available too. The bathroom came with a shower and a tub as well as a lighted cosmetic mirror.

Tips and recommendations

We highly recommend the hotel. We'll come here again.
