Apartments are a tip/activities *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AOur observations were in the first week of October in the hotel. We had an apartment, it is located in one of the neighboring building and is about ten years old and the information was completely renovated a year ago. This is plausible, the rooms (about 50-60 square meters) had large living room with kitchen, bedroom and a spacious bathroom. The terrace was great (no view of the sea therefor probably An offbeat view of the beautiful area. The decor and color schemes of the rooms really loved it. Little things could you complain about (for example, light deterioration on the skirting boards, hard to see). Location: at the top of the main street (we didn't notice any noise, was far enough away. For families with small children probably too far away from the beach, you had to walk along the road through a shopping arcade about 400 meters to the beautiful promenade/to the public beach. Easy access to the bus line very good given. Area: very beautifully designed. A must is a drink in the bar on the roof terrace with a view over the whole Bay at Manolo. Here you see the reason for those behalf grand Vista. The complex itself, so pool, Spa, etc. we didn't used, but everything looked very neat. There were sufficient beach chairs available, towels were provided. As we were told, the hotel is about 35 years old, the apartments about ten years. Both a-two years should have been refurbished. In public areas they didn't make the age, in good condition. To the rooms, we can't say, we were in the adjoining building, that was really great. Price/performance ratio was very good. Restaurant/food: we usually book rather only breakfast, but this time because of the small extra charge booked half board... To and from the hotel was good for a buffet Sunday in a hotel of this size amazingly well organized and good quality of the food. There should be something for everyone. For us especially enjoyable was, that regularly well as local dishes were offered. If the hotel is full, it is in the two dining rooms are already sometimes noisy. Our advice is to eat early or late and get a seat on the terrace. The waiters will help you, very quickly. The prices for drinks were absolutely moderate (decent bottle of wine twelve, from the vineyard of the boss). The waiters had at the end of the season a lot of fun and motivation. What you can do except for the beach and pool: to the animation program we can say nothing, as well as to the offers of TUI, the hotel. But you can for example-along the beach to Alcudia (old town) (approximately seven kilometer) to go with the bus (more on this below) back. Tip this is a path across the nature reserve.-with the bus to Alcudia/port Alcudia and pollenca/port pollenca drive. For everyone make sure, in these days no market! The buses are very full and drive times past. Entrance to the bus at the best bottom in the second row, there you, first a manacor you can save from our point of view, unless you would like to go into the factory. Place is nice but between the arrival time and received six hours and the shops in this period.-rent a scooter. If one stood before the hotel (ocean view) about 200 meters on the left hand side of the main street go down. There is a scooter rental (. Weelssport. Net). One day 125er scooter for 40 euro with insurance including 300 SB was okay. Tip sheet and a forward, under the half shell it is powerful. With a bicycle map out a route, as far as possible.-bicycle roads. You can also rent there, but at the hotel there is a service from Max h. (details of business on the island under control). Here, you could get everything you need. Only a few e-bikes, in time-on the promenade sit and chill out.-absolute tip is away from the hotel food is a restaurant with genuine cuisine, as cooks mother and the food is not for the tourists: CAS Caminer, very plain and usually only visited by Spaniards. Is located in the second row above the harbor, or at the end of the harbor, away from the promenade. Mother cooks, the son served. Total comfortable inside. We have ten TAPAS ordered (after ten we rejected) and second dinner. The were decent portions, we were warned. In addition a flat vino de la Casa, for the incredible 22, -euro and tasted good. We wish much fun, we loved the six days and the very good.
