A very pleasant stay at Pueblo Marinero
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe appartments as far we have seen have plenty of room, well equiped clean, but not all them have a splendid view, it is hardly posible to build a complex in which all appartments have seaview.
The nationality of the guests differs, Dutch, English, Spanish.
We arranged the meals ourselves, only the first breakfast was included, but what should have been a nice start of our holiday turned out to be a disaster!, incapable personel and bad food.
We just accepted, only as checked out the day before our leave i mentioned it the female manager.She understood our feelings and without a delay she offered us a delicious breakfast for free.
Of course we could have paid it ourselves, but the fact that she reacts on complaints the way she did was perfect!
As for the complex itself it is well maintained, super clean , that includes the swimmingpool, and the gardens are well looked after for.
The staff at the reception was always very helpful, for instance adding a missing cooking pot whitin 10 minutes and, advising restaurants, and very important, capable of speaking several languages.
Intotal we had a very pleasant stay at Pueblo Marinero
Location
From the complex you can have a nice walk to the center of the village, app. 30 minutes, with a nice view to thr sea.
In the village you have plenty of shops and nice restaurants.
We used a rental car in making nice excursions, its a beautiful island with many places worth visiting
As I already mentioned above the staff is kind and helpfull to the guests and are capable in speaking several languages, complaints, we only had one, are always taken serious.
The rooms are clean and were kept clean every day.
Gastronomy
You can always find a nice place to eat, cheap if you like but there are also some more exclusive places to eat.
All these restaurants realise that they must keep the customer satified!so it is always clean with very friendly staff.
Sport & Entertainment
The (big) pool was always very clean, there are enough sunbeds and sunscreens, and there are showers which delivers nice warm water,(only at the beginning) but eventoughit was nice.
Room
Appartments , I can only speak about our own 2-3pers appartment, with enough room, complete equiped,airconditioning and daily cleaning.
Not every appartment will have seaview, al least we didn,t have any view whatsoever.No problem, we spent most of our time outside the house.
Tips and recommendations
Good mobile phone access on the island, in general in the shops (always deal!) , restaurants, fee's,car-rental and petrol you get value for the money you pay.
In June we had nice weather, rather hot during the day and nice cool during the night, we hardly used our airconditioning.
