Excellent apartments in ideal location
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe apartments were very large and situated in a good location within easy walking distance of bars and shops. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the apartments, they were the largest we have ever been in. The entertainer, Gino, was very enthusiastic and did his best to encourage people to participate in the activities on offer. The better value bars and restaurants were situated along the promenade in the centre of Playa Blanca, although the Barugo Bar in the shopping centre across the road offered lunch time snacks at very reasonable prices (toasted ham and cheese sandwich and fries for 2.5 euros). The Lighthouse Bar and Cafe is worth a visit for good value English food, it is in the Faro Park area and costs around 5 euros in a taxi from the apartments. The bar is run by Steph and Steve, a very friendly couple who offer a warm welcome. Overall our holiday experience at Pueblo Marinero and Playa Blanca was very good, the only downside being the strong breeze most nights!
