Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A APeople are very enjoyeable, because of half-inclusive and not all-inclusive (families and couples, beginning upwards at 30). Many Germans and Swiss, some Dutch and English, no Russians. Large and well-kept facility. Rooms and bathrooms are only 11 years old, was renovated up to now according to my knowledge. Otherwise Picobello is clean and very pleasing. Because the buildings are located on a slope, many stairs, despite it you can travel around with a stroller (fewer available wheel chairs, because it is very steep). The hotel was over-booked, guests were placed in newly built Kempinski-Hotels for testing. Drinks are unreasonably expensive - (Example wine - 0.1 liter glass approximately 2.70 euros) You were taken to the cleaners. (We were already in the facility 3 times, but despite all of the positive points will not travel there in the future.
Location
In a village, approximately 30 minute trip with the Dolmus. Good connection. Except for the somewhat expensive super market in the facility, in the vacinity no shopping possibilities (by foot)
Helpful staff, customer complaints continually managed immediately. Otherwise the management did not respond. Generally - for 4 years the management kept the quality of the facility at a higher standard. In the meantime you are ripped off.
Gastronomy
During bad weather you are isolated, very loud rooms, which are too small during full occupancy of the hotel. Guests had to wait for free tables during dinner. It was also really loud during cleaning of the dishes. There was not a well-kept atmosphere. The selection of meals is good, and/but really western european, partly lukewarm - cold. If turkish food was cooked (evening theme), the food was definitely better. There was always cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, sharp cheese, other cheeses- and one to two kinds of sausage, curd cheese, yogurt, marmalade, honey, and eggs in all varations for breakfast.
Sport & Entertainment
Nice pools, clear ocean and also still warm enough to swim in October. Very pleasing and very unobtrusive entertainment, the evening performance was well done (unfortunately you hardly got a seat)
Room
Rooms could not be smaller, the balconies also, but worked. Otherwise everything that you need is available. Like said, condition from 1984 but very clean and tasteful.
Tips and recommendations
In the meantime enjoy the fishing bay (approximately 20 minutes from the Village) ultimate popularity, because the prices are still moderate there (5 euro fish, 9 euro wine bottle). Bodrum is just nice, other places at the seaside are good to reach with the Dolmus.
