A good holiday even if short *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel was nice and the staff was very nice. One negative aspect was that smoking should be forbidden on the balconies and also outside the entrance door because if one had the room just over the hall, the balcony doors couldn't be kept open as smoke always came in. We traveled to beautiful green Austria to breathe pure oxygen and not smoke.
Location
The location of the hotel was the best of the whole BKK offer.
At the restaurant I did not like the service very much because most of the time we couldn't get our drinks before the food. So we always dined with our vegetables buffet without anything to drink. I thought at least water should be on all tables even before tourists arrive. Also, the drink prices were exaggerated.
Gastronomy
The food was good. We had been here in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and all the time appreciated the cuisine. Especially the desserts.
Sport & Entertainment
Both pools were nice and the sauna area was very efficient and comfortable. The relaxing area above the sauna area was something really special. Maybe someone should watch more over the kids and make sure that they were not too loud.
Room
We had a suite this year but did not like it as much as we liked the double room in the past in the central part of the hotel. This part of the hotel had been recently renovated and was very comfortable. We really adored it and it cost less than the suite! On the other hand, the suite was nice but the bed was noisy and the TV set did not work well. Thus the channels in Italian language were not registered consecutively (so we had no. 14 18 32, 42….). Shower plastic caps would highly be appreciated in the bathroom.
